Steven Palmer comes from a proud legacy of Texas pioneers—his family was the 16th to arrive with the Peter’s Colony, laying deep roots in the Lone Star State. Raised on the banks of Texas rivers and creeks, Steven grew up immersed in the outdoors, developing a lifelong love for fishing and the natural world.

For the past 11 years, Steven has worked with Orvis, where he has taught fly fishing to thousands and led angling adventures around the globe. Whether casting in local streams or trekking to remote waters abroad, Steven’s passion for exploration is matched only by his dedication to conservation.

A firm believer in giving back to the places that shaped him, Steven is proud to support the Brazos Cleanup Project and help preserve the rivers he calls home.
